Menu Plan Monday

I've tried various memes and things but I think this one just might stick....because I'm always menu planning! What's happening this week in the Cookie Jar?
Baking/cookie jar: blueberry apple crisp, butter tarts, and...maybe some rocky road brownies if I get the chance?
Monday: Turkey Bruschetta Patties, garlic smashers, and salad
Tuesday: 30 Minute Sate (beef for me and Jake, chicken for Hubs) with rice pilaf and veggies
Wednesday: Lactose Free Macaroni and Cheese, tossed salad
Thursday: Maple glazed salmon, rice, veggies
Friday: Ham and Split Pea Soup, garlic Bread
Saturday: fend for yourself freezer dinner/leftover night..but I will make french toast that morning....
Sunday: Thanksgiving!
Herb roasted turkey breast and gravy
garlic mashed potatoes, lime butter mashed yams
home made cranberry sauce, stuffing
a nice tossed green salad....and ....
pumpkin pie

I totally like your turkey method better than mine!
I love meeting other Cdn bloggers. I'm in BC as well, way up north :(
Welcome to MPM!
:) Thanks! To me buying a breast roast is so much better in the long run then a whole bird because nothing gets thrown out. We eat it all!
The trick is to not dry the poor thing out.
Sounds fantastic!
Have a great week,
Steph
We prefer turkey breast to the whole bird too. Would really like the recipe to your rocky road brownies. Is it on your blog somewhere?
The rocky road brownies are new..I've never made them yet but yep...it's coming! Gotta find a bit of time to make them before Jake eats all the marshmallows when I'm not looking.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon your site. Your recipes look wonderful (especially the chocolate ones!) I'll definitely be back this afternoon when I have more time to print some out.
And rocky road brownies? Oh yeah. Bring 'em on.
Rocky Road brownie recipe is up! :)
